The Southwest Florida Astronomical Society, Inc. (SWFAS) will be hosting a free, family night of night sky observation at Seahawk Park! Experts from the Society will have telescopes and viewing equipment set up and will be on hand to explain what can be seen.

Come celebrate with Gulf Coast Humane Society and enjoy an evening of love of pets during the “Animals and the Arts” event. The event will highlight pets presented in a variety of different art mediums – including photography, canvas, music and film. The two hour of festivities will include the “Furry Friends Displayed in Art” Juried Exhibit, reception music by the Gulf Coast Symphony and a featured educational documentary showing entitled “Rescue For Paws”. The event will be attended by GCHS’ adoptable furry ambassadors, to make sure everyone can scratch that puppy-love itch! Music brought to you by Gulf Coast Symphony.

There will be a variety of art-focused special activities along with the Art Walk Founders Exhibit which will hang in the Capital Gallery of the second floor of the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center.
