This heartwarming tale is based on L. Frank Baum’s immensely popular children’s book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, written in 1900. The story is centered around a young girl, Dorothy Gale, who has big dreams of adventuring out form her all too predictable home life of living on a farm in Kansas with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. This delightful family musical will take CPT and the audience into a world of imagination we seldom get to visit once we grow up.

Come celebrate with Gulf Coast Humane Society and enjoy an evening of love of pets during the “Animals and the Arts” event. The event will highlight pets presented in a variety of different art mediums – including photography, canvas, music and film. The two hour of festivities will include the “Furry Friends Displayed in Art” Juried Exhibit, reception music by the Gulf Coast Symphony and a featured educational documentary showing entitled “Rescue For Paws”.
