The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)’s Toast to Life Gala is an event dedicated to saving and improving lives. At MDA, we are fighting to free individuals – and the families who love them – from the harmful effects of muscle-debilitating diseases so they can live longer and grow stronger.
During the evening, guests have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drinks and bid on incredible silent and live auction items. This special event unites business and community leaders with MDA families in support of a cause dedicated to improving the lives of kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy in our community.
Your support is cruicial to help MDA raise the funds and awareness needed to accelerate treatments and cures that will bring strength, independence and life to kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases.

Dress in your best prohibition era attire and jump aboard the J.C. Cruise Ship and enjoy a night with the GCHS furry ambassadors, a gorgeous sunset over the Caloosahatchee River and the chance to win prizes by collecting chips by playing Casino Night games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and Slot Machines! The Taste of Lee presented by WINK TV is a food festival held at Centennial Park in Downtown Fort Myers from 11 AM to Sunset on November 3rd, 2018. The event features a variety of Lee County’s finest restaurants as well as music and exciting activities for the entire family. Admission is $10 and all tasting items are priced between $1 and $5. Pick your favorite food or sample something new, the Taste of Lee has something for everyone. Liquor proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

The Junior League of Fort Myers will be hosting their 36th annual Taste of the Town at Alliance for the Arts.
