Fort Myers Beach Sandsculpting Championship and Beach Festival @ Wyndham Garden Fort Myers Beach

Admission:
-$7 for adults and children ages 5 and older.
-Free for children ages 4 and under
*$1 off admission for Veterans, active service members, police, fire and first responders with ID.

Come and witness incredible works of art made out of 2,000 tons of sand on Fort Myers Beach for the 32nd Annual American Sandsculpting Championship and Beach Festival! This event is 10 days featuring professional and amateur sculptors who will be competing with 40 works of art right in the sand. There will be World Class Master Sand Sculptors, the Advanced Amateur State Championship contest, the Amateur contest, Quick Sand Speed Sculpting, Sand Sculpting Demonstrations, a kids activity area with bounce houses and slides, and more than 50 vendors.

The first week features the Master Solos and Amateur divisions and the second week features the Master Doubles and Advanced Amateur State Championship divisions. In all more than 25 sand sculptors and hundreds of amateurs will participate in the event. Awards ceremonies are scheduled for Sundayz November 18th and also Sunday, November 25th.

Based on the holiday film of the same name, this hilarious musical comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa’s bag and winds up in the North Pole where he is raised, unaware that he is human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to discover his true identity. This modern day holiday classic is sure to bring out the true spirit of Christmas….after all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

The Marvelous Wonderettes are the entertainers at Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party and like every year, Mr. Harper is scheduled to pass out the employee bonuses. When Mr. Harper doesn’t show, one of the girls goes to find him, but instead finds what she thinks are the bonuses, but they’re not and everyone is in for a big surprise! The 60s style holiday songs include Santa Baby, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bell Rock, Winter Wonderland and more.

Downtown Car Cruise-In @ River District Alliance

From classic to cool, downtown streets are lined with the sight of these show cars on the fourth Sunday of the month from 12 noon – 4 pm. Music, food and more! Family Friendly and free to the public with many venues featuring additional specials.

Show Cars: Roads close at 10:00 am. We request you not begin arriving until then. This event fills quickly and to ensure an orderly lineup please enter at First and Monroe Street and Do not move barricades. Please respect parking policy by following the flow of traffic, not blocking fire hydrants, handicap ramps, sidewalks or driving access for any street. Exits are on First and Broadway, Hendry and Bay, Hendry and Main and First and Jackson – we prefer you not leave until the event is over. Event footprint increases during seasonal months.
