Based on the holiday film of the same name, this hilarious musical comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa’s bag and winds up in the North Pole where he is raised, unaware that he is human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to discover his true identity. This modern day holiday classic is sure to bring out the true spirit of Christmas….after all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

Winter Wonderettes @ Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre

The Marvelous Wonderettes are the entertainers at Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party and like every year, Mr. Harper is scheduled to pass out the employee bonuses. When Mr. Harper doesn’t show, one of the girls goes to find him, but instead finds what she thinks are the bonuses, but they’re not and everyone is in for a big surprise! The 60s style holiday songs include Santa Baby, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bell Rock, Winter Wonderland and more.

Sanibel and Captiva Island Luminary Holiday Stroll and Festival @ Sanibel, Florida 33957

The Chamber is proud to host its 34th annual Luminary Festival on Sanibel and Captiva Islands Friday, December 7th on Sanibel and Saturday, December 8th on Captiva. Luminary Holiday Stroll is a community-wide holiday event that brings together residents, visitors, businesses and organizations, promoting goodwill and community spirit. As you “stroll the trail”, look for the many fun places to stop and enjoy. There will be Santa visits, photos with Santa, a live nativity scene, music and activities for the entire family.
Their goal is to offer recognition to Island businesses and encourage local shopping while providing a fun-filled evening for family and friends. All Chamber merchants are invited to participate and show off their creative decorated storefronts and host holiday celebrations at their center.

Roadhouse Productions will be hosting their annual Fall Nationals Car Show at JetBlue Park at Fenway South! This event features several different types of show vehicles including classics, muscle and exotic! There will also be a swap meet, food, music, automotive vendors, and trophy presentations. A portion of the proceeds go to the United Cerebral Palsy organization of Southwest Florida.

Show car registration is from 7am – 10am and pre-registration is $20 and at the show $30.

*Rain date is Sunday, December 9th.
