Songwriters at Sunset 3:30 pm @ Lovers Key State Park

FOLKS (Friends of Lovers Key, Inc.) has joined with The ACMA (Americana Community Music Association), to offer free Acoustic concerts of all original music. The concerts will take place in the large gazebo located right on the beach. Seating is available for the first 80 people. Additional seating is also available on the sand. The Folks group will offer a Beach BBQ fundraiser at the show. www.friendsofloverskey.org
The ACMA is a Fort Myers based organization that promotes local artists who write and sing their own original songs. Come hear great original music and the stories behind the songs in an intimate “Bluebird Café” style. The show will finish with a fabulous Lovers Key Sunset. www.americanacma.org

Houseboat Jim,
Jim started picking and singing back in the late 50’s in Greenwich Village. Got married, worked, and got back to music about fifteen years ago in Las Vegas. He is a local favorite performing around the Ft. Myers area for the last six years. Jim who does live on a houseboat just released a new CD.

Bill Steel retired from the automotive industry in 2008 and has been wintering in Fort Myers ever since. He is passionate about sailing and music and has found a perfect place to enjoy both of these interests.
It was his introduction to the ACMA that encouraged him to perform in front of an audience and eventually write his own songs. Bill draws from his travels through Central America, as well as every day life experiences as the source for his songwriting and tries to bring out the humor from them.

Keith Parker, Started playing guitar at age 13. He enjoys many different genres which has also influenced his original compositions. Keith has been both a band leader and a sideman and enjoys backing others on guitar and vocals when the opportunity presents itself. Keith also has a passion for writing, co-writing, arranging, recording and performing original music.

Based on the holiday film of the same name, this hilarious musical comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa’s bag and winds up in the North Pole where he is raised, unaware that he is human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to discover his true identity. This modern day holiday classic is sure to bring out the true spirit of Christmas….after all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

The Marvelous Wonderettes are the entertainers at Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party and like every year, Mr. Harper is scheduled to pass out the employee bonuses. When Mr. Harper doesn’t show, one of the girls goes to find him, but instead finds what she thinks are the bonuses, but they’re not and everyone is in for a big surprise! The 60s style holiday songs include Santa Baby, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bell Rock, Winter Wonderland and more.

If a ticket is purchased for a table seat, each seat must purchase a minimum $15 of food. If the $15 minimum food purchase is not met, the remaining food balance may be charged to the customer.

**If you have a general admission ticket and make a reservation for dinner in our front room at least one day before the event, we will reserve a seat for you. Dinner service is available in our front room beginning at 5pm by reservation. Regular dinner service for sections P1-P5 ticketholders begins in the theater at 5 PM.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

JANE LYNCH is an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester on Glee and she is currently the two-time Emmy Award-winning host of NBC’s Hollywood Game Night. In 2015, Jane embarked on her own live concert tour, See Jane Sing with Kate Flannery, Tim Davis and The Tony Guerrero Quintet. Their holiday album, A Swingin’ Little Christmas is available from iTunes, Amazon and other outlets.

KATE FLANNERY is best known for her 9 seasons as Meredith the drunk on NBC’s THE OFFICE. Recent TV appearances include THE NEW GIRL, AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE, ANOTHER PERIOD and BROOKLYN NINE NINE. Kate is currently Jane Lynch’s sidekick in her anti cabaret act, SEE JANE SING having played the Kennedy Center, Joe’s Pub and 30 cities across the country. Her original cult comedy lounge act, the Lampshades regularly plays comedy festivals and in and around Hollywood.

TIM DAVIS has been singing and touring for the past three years in See Jane Sing. Tim’s music producing and singing credits include all six seasons of “Glee”, ABC’s “Boy Band”, the feature film “Love Is Afoot”, Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl 2017 halftime show, Pentatonix Christmas, Barbra Streisand’s 2017 concert tour, Jane Lynch’s “Swingin’ Little Christmas”, The People’s Choice Awards, Josh Groban’s “Stages”, Childish Gambino, the feature film “Beauty and The Beast”, TV’s “The Americans”, and “The Goldbergs”.

THE TONY GUERRERO QUINTET has been a staple of the Southern California jazz scene for many years. Featuring Tony Guerrero (trumpet and piano), Matt Johnson (drums), Mark Visher (woodwinds), Dave Siebels (keyboards) and David Miller (stand-up bass), they are currently touring the country with “See Jane Sing” with Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery and Tim Davis. This past Christmas they released their holiday album “A Swingin’ Little Christmas”, that landed a spot in the top twenty of the Billboard charts. The single “Winter’s Never Cold” (an original Tony Guerrero composition) went to #8 on the Billboard charts. The album is available on iTunes
