Learn the technique of palette knife painting with Jan Ellen Atkielski. All level of experience are welcome. This 2 day workshop will guide you through the process of oil application and movement.

The 22nd Estero Fine Art Show has a new location at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers – winter home of the Boston Red Sox! This high quality, juried fine art and fine craft show brings 150 artists to sell their original and personally handmade art in all forms of discipline including paintings, sculpture, clay, glass, fiber, jewelry, photography, mixed media, wood, and more. There is something for everyone, in all price ranges. This art show is voted top 100 art shows in America – three years in a row – a true testament to our efforts and successes.
While at the art show, be sure to visit the Youth Art Competition integrated within the art show. Sponsored by Institute for the Arts & Education, the associated 501c3 non profit, all students in grades K-8 or ages 5-13 are encourged to submit his/her art that is publicly displayed in the show the entire weekend. There is $250 in youth art awards as students are exposed to the entrepreneurship opportunity of doing art shows for a living.

Come watch K-9 teams from across the state compete in a Handler/K-9 obstacle course and Hardest Hitting/Fastest K-9 event! Prizes go to the top 3 in each division.
This year the majority of the proceeds collected from the event will go to the Holidays 4 Heroes charity based right here in Cape Coral. Holidays 4 Heroes is dedicated to serving our soldiers deployed overseas by sending them care packages during the holidays while they are unable to be with their loved ones.
The event is free to the public! We only ask that all attendees donate something to support any one of the amazing local charities that will be present at the event. Some of the organizations who have already signed up to return this year are:

-Peace River Search and Rescue
-and many more vendors to come see!
This will be a family fun event featuring bounce houses for the children, a K-9 meet and greet with the Cape Coral Police Department K-9’s, SWAT and Fire Truck displays, and a full food truck rally to fill you up! There will also be a vendor expo on site for all our great supporters.
The event will be held at Island Coast High School, 2125 De Navarro Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL. On Saturday January 5, 2019, from 10am-6pm. Come support your favorite K-9’s and their handlers from local agencies and a few select K-9 clubs!
