The Edison Festival 5K Race during the Festival of Light event take runners through the streets of the Downtown River District. You can register yourself or a team for this 3.1 mile race for a chance to win cash prizes. This is a professional event that is coordinated from start to finish by the Fort Myers Track Club and includes chip timing and an after-event awards program.

Owners of T-Birds, Lincoln, Mercury, Edsel, and Fairlane cars will be exhibiting their antiques on Henry Ford’s lawn, along the Caloosahatchee River. Refreshments are available for purchase and a DJ will be on site playing everyone’s favorite songs. Car show is included with Edison Ford admission.
The deadline to pre-register a car is February 13. Pre-registration is $10 for one car and $5 for each additional car. This includes admission into Edison Ford for the registered participant and one passenger.

AMERICAN STAR Since moving to the United States in 2000, Jimmy has been extremely busy. He has played at numerous high profile Country Clubs up and down the east coast, and for many Corporate groups at hotels such as, the Hilton, Hyatt, Registry and Ritz Carlton, all in Naples, Florida; the Four Seasons in Scottsdale Arizona, the 21 Club and 4 seasons Restaurant in New York City; The Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas just to name a few. Jimmy has appeared many times at the Boston Comedy Connection, the Comedy Connection in Providence, RI., The Newport Comedy Fest, and the Atlantic Connection Theatre, Martha’s Vineyard.
