Lead singer Patrick Myers said “It’s been an amazing journey. That first show back in June 1993 changed my life. We thought our band would last maybe a summer at the most but it’s a very addictive thing performing these songs! The concerts grew and grew and we’ve ended up playing and selling out the same arenas that Queen played at their peak. It’s been quite a surreal ride. Becoming regular performers Red Rocks Arena in America is another highlight . The Beatles, U2, Springsteen, Dylan all played on that stage. It’s really got it’s own kind of magic going on there.”
2018 sees the band’s third and biggest US tour returning to Red Rocks and Austin City Limits. They are also headlining festivals across Europe and North Africa.

In addition to the Beethoven v. Coldplay concert, the Symphony offers a unique VIP experience on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 from 7pm – 10pm.
The Symphony will hold a bourbon tasting event, featuring sonically aged Hudson Bourbon. Two barrels of bourbon will be exposed to the sonic effect of the music of Beethoven and Coldplay, thereby sonically aging each barrel to different soundwaves. Breakthru Beverage Group Distributors has been experimenting with sonic spirit aging with a variety of spirits and musical genres that have produced fascinating results, though the general public still has narrow access to sonically aged spirits.
In conjunction with the bourbon tasting, this event offers signature cocktails courtesy of Nice Guys Pizza in Cape Coral, light fare courtesy of Seminole Casino Hotel, and an exclusive meet and greet and access to entertainment provided by Maestro Steve Hackman on piano.
Limited tickets to the Symphony’s bourbon tasting are available for purchase for $100 each by visiting the Symphony’s website or by calling the Box Office at 239-418-1500. This event takes place in a private home in Downtown Ft. Myers. The address will be provided upon ticket purchase.
