Over 1,000 people will gather in downtown Fort Myers at Centennial Park and walk across the Fort Myers bridge to raise awareness for mental health issues and help to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness.
Proceeds from the event support NAMI LCH’s mission “to improve the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy.”

Paint for the Cure to benefit 4 Words Foundation who provides cancer awareness, education and patient financial assistance for Charlotte, Lee, and Collier counties. All supplies are included to create your masterpiece; 16×20 canvas, paint, brushes and aprons including step by step artistic instruction. All of our paintings are originals created by the art instructor. Pre-register prior to the event to secure your seat. This is the 2nd annual murder mystery sponsored by the Lehigh Chapter of ABWA. The audience interviews all suspects and tries to determine “who dun it” based on their investigation and the clues provided. This year’s event is all about the wine and will feature a complimentary wine and cheese tasting, heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, raffles, silent auction, and a few surprises!
Funds raised will go towards the Onnadine Hosler Impact Scholarship fund which is awarded to a local young lady each year, and towards the education of the chapter’s members.
