Guided Nature Hike – Saturday @ Koreshan State Park

Join a park volunteer for a hike on the Nature Trails of Koreshan State Park. Learn some park history, history of the Estero river and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way. Hike will begin at the Koreshan State Park picnic area, just North of the playground. Note: the walk will be approximately 1.8 miles long, the trail is uneven, has sand, grass and packed earth along the way. Bring water, hat and camera for pictures. Fort Myers Boat Show @ Centennial Park

The 47th Annual Fort Myers Boat Show once again takes over the historic downtown riverfront, Thursday through Sunday, November 21st to the 24th. With displays in water, throughout Centennial Park, and on the Streets- this is the biggest showing of boats, boating products and all things marine in Southwest Florida. Attendees will find hundreds of boats, more than 130 boat lines, expanded in-water displays, and a huge display of Boating Accessories and fishing tackle. See, compare and buy everything that’s new in boating. From skiffs to fishing boats, to cruising boats to luxurious yachts- there is a boat for everyone plus all the gear and gadgets boaters love. The Main Show Entrance is at the west side of Centennial Park at 1st Street and Carson Street (Next to Joe’s Crab Shack) and there is a second entrance at the City Yacht Basin (Lee St. & Edwards Dr.) Admission is just $13 and children under 16 are free with a paid adult, tickets may be purchased on site at either show entrance. Plan to spend the day, enjoy the show and the variety of restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown river district.

Bonita Fest 2019 @ Riverside Park, 10450 Reynolds St

Riverside Park in Bonita Springs will come alive to the sounds of two bands on Saturday, November 23rd from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. The free music festival will feature classic rock band, Iconic, as the opener followed by lead act, The Caribbean Chillers, featuring the music of Jimmy Buffett and other tropical party favorites.

Please join us at this FREE concert at Riverside Park, there will be awesome entertainment, delicious food and delightful beverages available for purchase at Bonita Fest 2019! Bring your family and friends for the entire day. Lawn chairs are just fine! Coolers and pets are not allowed during the event.

Net proceeds for the event help support needed charities, scholarships and community service programs funded by the Rotary Club of Bonita Naples Foundation.

For anyone who enjoys gardening, this is a must-see event! Dozens of plant and garden vendors will have booths under the Banyan and other historic trees all around the museum and lab. This is an opportunity to shop for hard-to-find plants that grow successfully in Southwest Florida. The Edison Garden Shoppe will also have many plants, trees, herbs and garden-related items available for sale. Plant vendors and Edison Ford horticulturists will be on hand to answer gardening questions and help you with your selections.

Food trucks and live music will be on site too, so come out and spend the day shopping for plants! This free event does not include tours of homes or admission to the museum and laboratory. Parking is free.
