Join a park volunteer for a hike on the Nature Trails of Koreshan State Park. Learn some park history, history of the Estero river and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way. Hike will begin at the Koreshan State Park picnic area, just North of the playground. Note: the walk will be approximately 1.8 miles long, the trail is uneven, has sand, grass and packed earth along the way. Bring water, hat and camera for pictures. Join us and Lee County Domestic Animal Services on Saturday November 30th from 10am-2pm. There will be adoptable dogs, free food, beer and great deals for Black Friday weekend!! Help us help them find homes for these pups! They deserve a great home not just for the holidays, but for the rest of their lives.
Can’t adopt a dog? That’s okay! Feel free to bring donations for LCDAS. They can really use dog treats, tennis balls, Kongs, towels, dog beds, cat toys, cat treats, and canned cat food!!
The grill will get started around 10:30am.
