Annual Plant Sale and Fundraiser for the non-profit Garden Club of Cape Coral. Thrift booth, opportunity drawings, lots and lots of plants of every description, local vendors and artists, music, and food! Come out and enjoy the day while stocking up on your garden and lanai plants. Free parking! Jaycee Park in Cape Coral 9 am to 3 pm Saturday, March 13th, 2021. This is an outdoor event. Social distancing and face masks respectfully required as per CDC guidelines.

12th Annual Special Populations Fashion Show @ Westin Cape Coral

Join us for a great cause when the Guardian Angels for Special Populations present the 12th Annual Special Populations Fashion Show and Auction on Saturday, March 13 at The Westin Resort and Convention Center in Cape Coral.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. with the event starting at 11:00 a.m. There will be a gourmet lunch crafted by Chef Victoria Wenning and complimentary happy hour. Razzle Dazzle will provide the models with their fashions and Special Populations models will strut their stuff throughout the event. Special Populations has some new, fun live auction items that we are excited to present.
This year we will be offering a Silent Auction, Pic-a-Prize Game, Wine Pull, Grab Bags, Lotto Board Raffle, a Diamond Drop by John Michaels Jewelry Store, as well as a chance to try your luck in the 50/50 drawing and Grand Prize Board Game.
In addition, all four conference rooms at the Westin have been reserved, which will seat up to 350 people socially distanced (the space has a normal capacity to host 1400 people).
Event tickets are a $50 per person charity donation sold in advance only and available by calling (239) 574-0574 to charge by phone or at the Freida B. Smith Special Populations Center, 410 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral. They are also available online at www.myspecialpops.org via PayPal or at Pop’s Café located in Cape Coral City Hall.

The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club is happy to announce our Dog Show Extravaganza. There will be AKC Conformation, rally, and obedience. Along with Dock Diving, Fast Cat, American Temperament Testing, CGC Testing, Trick Dog Testing, Dog Supply Vendors, Rescue Row, Deputy Dogs and much more!!! A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donate to local area shelters. So come out and support a great cause. To enter the event is FREE. There will be a $5 Fee per car for parking.

Food Truck Rally @ American Legion Post 323

Join us for our first ever Food Truck Rally! We will have 5-6 Local Food Trucks at the post for you to sample some fantastic local cuisine.
The list of trucks that will be on hand will be announced shortly.
Additionally, the Sons of the American Legion will be holding a few events this day:
– Silent Auction Raffles to benefit Special Olympics Florida. We have donations of merchandise, gift certificates and more from local businesses to raffle off.
– Horseshoe Tournament: $10 Entry Fee/Blind Draw Partners. If 18 or more players, an extra $100 will be added to the prize pot. The Horseshoe Tournament is open to players of all skill levels.
– Lely Resort Golf Package Raffle. Win a round of Golf for 4 on the Mustang Course! Includes golf cart fee, golf fees, and unlimited range balls. a $320 Value!
These events are part of our American Legion Family OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND. The public is welcome to attend and discover what the American Legion is all about!
