I could write a BOOK on the things to do in Fort Myers, but I will narrow it down to my favorite 10:
Any “to do” list of Fort Myers has to start at the beach:
- Bunche Beach
- Bowditch Point Park
- Matanzas Pass
- Crescent Beach Family Park
- Lynn Hall Memorial Park
- Lovers Key State Park
- Fort Myers Dog Beach
Sticking with the nature theme, there are many great boat tours in Fort Myers. These are my favorites:
True Tours
Last year I went on my first True Tours Historical Walking Tour. It was so fun and I learned so much about my community. They offer many tours from a River District History tour to a Haunted History Tour (they have a few others too)! I highly recommend!
2200 First Street, Fort Myers
Broadway Palm
I LOVE the Broadway Palm! . From the amazing buffet to the Broadway and Off-Broadway Shows, this is one of my favorite things to do in Fort Myers. It’s always a fun time.
1380 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers
Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall
This is another one of my favorite cultural things to do! From Concerts to Musicals to the Symphony, there is always something fun to see at Barbara B. Mann.
13350 FSW Parkway, Fort Myers
Play ball! We are so lucky to have two professional baseball teams spring train in Fort Myers.
There are so many great parks in Fort Myers. My favorites are:
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve
Edison & Ford Winter Estates
Any time of year is a great time to visit Edison & Ford Winter Estates, but it’s extra special at the holidays when the grounds are decorated for Christmas. It’s one of my favorite holiday traditions!
2350 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers
Fort Myers River District
There are always so many fun things happening in the River District! From the Art Walk (First Friday) to Mystery Walk (Second Friday) to Music Walk (Third Friday) to Pet Walk (Forth Friday)… there is something for everyone!
Shell Factory
The Nature Center, the Shells, the Christmas Store, the fun park…. so many things to do at the Shell Factory. Oh… and there is a dog park!
