If you want amazing seafood, you need to go to Matlacha/Pine Island!
Here are a few of my favorite restaurants:
Olde Fish House
4530 Pine Island Rd, Matlacha
I had the grouper. My friend had the fish tacos. Both were AMAZING! And the live entertainment made the day perfect!
The Waterfront Restaurant and Marina
2131 Oleander St., St. James City,
One word… Paradise! I love the gator bites (yes, I am a Florida girl)!
Miceli’s Restaurant
3930 Pine Island Rd NW , Matlacha

Pasta Ala Miceli… this is one of the best meals I have ever had. I love seafood – and this dish has EVERYTHING in it! I highly recommend! It’s also a great place to listen to live entertainment.
Blue Dog Bar & Grill
4597 Pine Island Road, NW, Matlacha
I LOVE the crab cake dinner! You actually taste the crab.. so good! It’s so Florida!
Bert’s Bar & Grill
4271 Pine Island Rd, Matlacha

This place is so colorful and fun (and the food is really good)! I love the live entertainment and the view is amazing!
By boat or by car… Bert’s is a great place to hang out!
Hooked Island Grill
4200 Pine Island Road NW, Matlacha
The view… yes the view!!!! Oh.. and the food is really good too! Every time I have gone to Hooked Island Grill the service has been amazing.
CW Fudge Factory
4548 Pine Island Road, Matlacha
Is it wrong to include dessert on a list of top restaurants in a city? I hope not!!! If loving dessert is wrong, I don’t want to be right!
CW Fudge Factory is unbelievable!
Ragged Ass Saloon
3421 Stringfellow Rd Saint James City

This place is just fun!!! There is nothing better than hanging on the patio listening to great music (and munching on pork wings)!
Island Seafood Market
4330 Pine Island Road, Matlacha

A seafood market… AND a restaurant – SCORE!!! My favorite thing on the menu is the peel and eat shrimp – it is so fresh!
Tarpon Lodge
13771 Waterfront Dr, Bokeelia
I love history – which is probably why I love this restaurant/lodge (built in 1926) so much. The cheeseboard is amazing!
