I say it all the time… we live where other people vacation! Here are some of my favorite “things to do” in this great community:

I love the Cape Coral Yacht Club. The beach is small, but the view is beautiful (and most importantly, you can feel the sand between your toes)! There is also a public pool for visitors to enjoy. A stroll along the fishing pier, followed by dinner at the Boathouse Tiki Bar and Grill make it a perfect Southwest Florida day!

Tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Oh… and there are samples. Cheers!

Who doesn’t love a waterpark! With slides, a family pool, an ecological boardwalk, a river tube ride, and a volleyball court, there is something for everyone at Sunsplash Water Park.

Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve
Four Mile Cove has a Walking Trail, Visitor Center, Veteran’s Memorial Area and Seasonal Kayak Rentals – it’s a Cape Coral must!

I think it’s so important to support the arts! Cultural Park Theatre has a Broadway Series, a Concert Series, and they even offer theatre classes!

BBQ Party Boat: It’s a little different, but you cannot beat a boat with a bbq grill in the middle!
5951 Silver King Blvd

Dolphin Tours – We are so lucky to live among these beautiful creatures. And I love a boat tour!

Restaurants, Shopping and a Spa… sounds like a perfect day to me!

Parks: . There are many great parks in Cape Coral to enjoy. Here are a few of my favorites:

Discover your inner artist! As someone that has zero artistic ability, I am always amazed with my finished product when I go to one of the many art classes in Cape Coral. My favorites:

Cape Coral Trolley The Cape Coral trolley events are a great way to experience Cape Coral’s nightlife (each event showcases twelve local bars/restaurants – each providing a sample related to that month’s theme) and it’s a great way to meet your neighbors.

Southwest Florida Military Museum and Library
It’s so important for us to remember and honor those that gave so much for our freedom.
