Dust off your tartan and plan to join your family and friends at the 17th Annual Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival at Centennial Park, Downtown Fort Myers.
Friday Night, January 24th is the Kick-Off Party from 5:00 to 10:00pm
Enjoy traditional Celtic food, drink and merchandise along with performances by your favorite bands!
Listen in at the Jacobite Encampment as they talk a little treason and the sounds of the all-female “Blue Skye Pipes and Drums” — the nation’s only all-female pipe and drum corps. One of Southwest Florida’s favorites “West of Galway” is up next, followed by Ireland’s own “Screaming Orphans” and Scottish sensation; “Albannach” and the international supergroup Rathkeltair, rounds out the evening.
The Festival continues on Saturday, January 25th at Centennial Park from 11:00am to 10:00pm.
Albannach, Rathkeltair, and Screaming Orphans are three of the most sought-after bands on the Celtic circuit. Marcille Wallis & Friends and House of Hamill bring a unique blend of music and dance from Scotland and Ireland. Be sure to catch the performance by the Kellyn Irish Dancers!
