Learn about the history of Buckingham Army Air Field from Jim Zbick, Curator, SWFL Military Museum & Library and Ted Mikita, Pilot and Researcher at our November Membership Meeting.
Buckingham Army Air Field was home to tens of thousands of young men and women during WWII. Join us as we celebrate these Veterans and learn about the history of the air base and the town that sprung up around it.
Lectures are held next door to the Museum at the Cultural Park Theatre.
The lecture is free for Cape Coral Historical Society Members, and Military Personnel, past and present. $5 suggested donation for non-members
